THE new owner of a well-established Taunton estate agents says he hopes to take the business to "new heights and embrace the ever-changing market".

Dan Batchelor has been a colleague and director at Wilsons for 11 years.

He has now taken over following the retirement from frontline estate agency of Chris and Julia Willey.

Dan said: "One of the things that sets Wilsons apart is that we are a family owned, independent local business, and that will not change.

"As we move forward, I am delighted to introduce our newest team member, Layla Baker.

"Layla has extensive experience working on multi-million pound contracts and brings a wealth of skills in areas such as team and process management, data analysis, and environmental management.

"We also have Benjamin McCaskey, who has been an invaluable member of our team for over three years with Wilsons.

"Benjamin recently completed his Certificate in Residential Estate Agency and is excited to showcase his skills and attributes to our customers."

As part of his vision for Wilsons is to be "adaptable, flexible and to maintain customer relationships" built on trust and transparency, the team has analysed the internal and external factors that are best for both customers and the business.

Dan added: "In order to provide a better customer experience, we understand the daily difficulties of balancing home and work life, as well as the added pressures of buying or selling a property.

"Therefore, we have decided to become more flexible and offer a more personal approach."

This has led to the closure of Wilsons office off Taunton town centre to allow more time to be spent with clients at a time and place convenient to them.

"By minimising the overheads and expenses of a town centre shop, we have been able to invest in new IT support systems and equipment, which will improve our efficiency and provide a higher quality service to our customers," said Dan.

"We want to assure clients that, apart from our new approach, nothing else has changed.

"We are still committed to providing an efficient, hands-on experience for all our customers.

"If you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact us on 01823 324 324 or via info@wilsonsestateagents.co.uk

"Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to a bright and wonderful future."
