A STALKING Protection Order has been slapped on a Westonzoyland man.
Taunton Magistrates' Court heard that Dean David, 34, of Load Lane, had carried out "acts associated with stalking".
And it is believed he poses "a risk associated with stalking to another person".
The interim order was imposed for six months or until the final determination of the application if earlier.
The order bars him from attempting to contact in any way, directly or indirectly, four named women, or attending their homes or workplaces.
He is also banned from contacting any of their relatives.
The order says he must not continue to contact anyone who has made it clear, either verbally or in writing, that they no longer wish to receive such contact from him.
David has been informed that failing to comply with any terms of the order would be a criminal offence, for which he could be sentenced to prison or detention.
