TRAFFIC will be barred from a 332-metre stretch of a Taunton road for almost two months.
The 24-hours a day temporary closure of a section of Broadlands Road and Mount Nebo will enable Wales and West Utilities to carry out gas mains replacement works.
Somerset Council has issued an order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Broadlands Road from the junction with Middlezoy to the junction with Broadlands Road, to the junction with Trull Road.
The road closure is expected to commence on Monday, February 12 and last until Tuesday, April 9, a total of 58 days.
