A ROAD to a small village between Wellington and Milverton was closed off by police earlier today (Thursday, January 25) after a car overturned.
Officers were called to the single-vehicle incident shortly before midday.
They closed the road so that the car could be righted and then removed.
It is not believed anyone was injured and the road was re-opened by early afternoon.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 11.45am this morning (25 January) to a report that a vehicle had overturned in Langford Budville.
"Officers attended to close the road to allow the car to be recovered.
"No other vehicle was involved, and no injuries were reported.
"The road was reopened at 2,15pm."
