FANS can go LEGO crazy at the first ever Taunton Brick Festival this spring.

There will be displays of all shapes and sizes and some of the best UK's top MOC - to the uninitiated, that's 'my own creation' - builders will showcase their latest models

The event at Wellsprings Leisure Centre will also feature an array of LEGO-themed traders and a host of activities for the LEGO-crazy of all ages to join in.

There is going to be lots to see and do, including speed building competitions, large scale displays, activities, traders selling loose bricks, new LEGO sets, retired LEGO sets, minifigures and accessories, plus a dedicated building area.

A spokesperson for the event on Sunday, April 21, from 10am to 4pm, said: "This is an awesome LEGO-filled day out.

"This will be a great day for families, collectors, adult builders and every other kind of LEGO fan.

"And Taunton Brick Festival has a dedicated building area where you can channel your creativity with thousands of LEGO bricks."

Early entry tickets from 10am are £13 per person; standard entry is adults £7, children £5, family ticket (two adults, two children) £18; under fives free with a paying adult.
