Sarah Dyke signed the Holocaust Educational Trust's Book of Commitment to mark Holocaust Memorial Day.
The Liberal Democrat representative for Somerton and Frome honoured those who were killed, as well as the survivors.
Holocaust Memorial Day is observed on January 27th, the date in 1945 when Auschwitz-Birkenau, the Nazi camp, was liberated.
UK wide, a number of memorial events coordinated by schools, faith groups and community organisations are rolling out.
This year's theme is Fragility of Freedom.
These events also pay homage to those persecuted by the Nazis, including Roma and Sinti people, disabled individuals, homosexuals, political adversaries and others.
MP Sarah Dyke said: "Holocaust Memorial Day is an important opportunity for people from Somerton and Frome to reflect on the darkest times of European history.
"Today, I pledge to remember the six million Jewish men, women and children who were murdered in the Holocaust and speak out against all forms of antisemitism."
Karen Pollock CBE, Holocaust Educational Trust's chief executive, said: "On Holocaust Memorial Day, we remember the six million Jewish men, women and children who were murdered by the Nazis and their collaborators, and we honour those who survived."
She added the rising trend of antisemitism makes it pivotal to remember the victims and increase awareness of discrimination.
