Staff and residents from a care home near Wellington celebrated Burns Night in style.

The Nynehead Court was awash in tartan as attendees jubilantly marked the occasion.

Bagpipe music filled the air before a lunch of haggis, game pie, and shortbread was served.

The festivities also included a themed quiz further adding to the buzzing atmosphere.

Home manager Joanne Fenn said: "Burns Night is an annual fixture on our calendar, and we love to welcome our piper who also visits at New Year.

"The home looks fabulous today with so much tartan on display."
