SOMERSET-based Cake Design by Holly Miller has won the national 2024 Wedding Industry Award for Wedding Cake category.
The accolade was presented to Holly Miller at a glamorous awards ceremony in London attended by well-known names and the creative elite of the wedding industry.
Holly, whose business was established in 2016, since when it has created cakes for hundreds of weddings, was among regional winners competing for the national title.
The Wedding Industry Awards brings together businesses across the UK and honours key players and recognises the contribution business owners have made to the industry while working hard to run a thriving business despite the hard times.
On winning the national accolade, Holly said: “I was so delighted to win this national award upon first time of entry. It is the most fantastic feeling.
"Receiving so many lovely votes and such amazing feedback from my past clients was very moving and a real testament to my hard work and love for what I do.
"To receive an award based on real nominations and being judged by top industry experts is almost overwhelming, but I am thrilled to bits, and I will always treasure the moment I actually won.”
