Taunton Brewhouse is set to welcome families for a week of programmes during February Half-Term on February 11.

The programmes kick off with Framed!, an engaging family whodunnit packed with music, puppetry, and clowning.

The presentation by Exeter-based company PaddleBoat Theatre features detective Rufus Caper’s pursuit of arch nemesis Constance Shadows.

PaddleBoat Theatre is also offering an exclusive Mystery Stories Writing Workshop, allowing people to hone their murder mystery writing skills.

The Dinosaur Adventure Live will take place on February 12 with Trouble on Volcano Island, a new and interactive show.

On February 13, the Ministry of Science returns to Taunton for a dive into the world of science.

Audiences can expect different experiments, including fire tornados, exploding balloons, hydrogen rockets, and a do-it-yourself hovercraft.

The Junior Detectives Writing Workshop, suitable for children aged eight to 11, is an interactive session led by blogger and author, Jo Middleton.

During the workshop, participants will be gathering clues and suspects in a quest to write the beginning of their very own mystery story.

Taunton Brewhouse has also revealed a line-up of family shows for the Easter holidays.

The roster includes musical renditions of classics like Charlie Cook’s Favourite Book, Spot’s Birthday Party and Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
