SOMERSET has been subjected to heavy rain since Thursday last week, prompting several flood warnings and alerts to be issued by the Environment Agency.

The county was placed under a weather warning by the Met Office from 6pm on Saturday, February 10, until 6pm on Sunday, February 11.

Although the rain since appears to have subsided, flooding is still possible in several areas across Somerset, according to the Environment Agency.
