A CHILDREN'S party entertainment venue is closing for good on Saturday (February 17).

The owners of MADhouse, based at Armada House, on Galmington Enterprise Park, have decided to call it a day following "a tough couple of years".

Paw Patrol characters will be visiting throughout the day to liven up "a full-on goodbye party".

Breaking the news on Facebook at the end of last month, MADhouse posted: "We have had a tough couple of years, and with various reasons we have had to make the tough decision to close our business.

"We initially thought we might try and find a new up-to-date venue but the market is tough and estate agents haven't been forthcoming with spaces for us to move into.

"You know what they say, everything happens for a reason, therefore I can confirm that 2024 will be the year that the MADhouse closes indefinitely.

"This is our official notice to all of our wonderful customers that we will be closing our doors for the final time on the 17th February 2024 at 3pm.

"This day will be a goodbye from us and we may even bring out a couple of our favourite pups to say goodbye to the children who visit that day.

"Please ensure to come and see us before you go, and please remember this is a sad time for us too."
