The latest forecast is warning residents in Somerset and the South West of a yellow warning for rain tomorrow (Thursday, February 15).

The Met Office said the weather warning will be in place from 11am to 11.59pm.

They said: “Further rain, on already saturated ground, is expected to move north and east to affect parts of southwest England and south Wales on Thursday morning and will become persistent and heavy at times.

“15 to 20 mm of rain is expected to fall widely with 30 to 40 mm likely over higher ground. “The rain will start to die out from the west after dark.”
