A POPULAR Weston pier is offering couples impacted by a Somerset wedding venue closure free room hire to help "get plans back on track."
Due to the recent closure of the Oakhouse Hotel in Axbridge, many couples have had their wedding plans thrown into uncertainty.
The Grand Pier has stepped up and vowed to help couples like Nicole Boncquet and Connor Creed, who had their hopes of a spring wedding shattered.
Any couples with a confirmed wedding booking at the Axbridge hotel are invited to contact the pier's events team on events@grandpier.co.uk or 01934 646 155.
Melissa Rule, events manager at The Grand Pier, said: "We empathise with couples like Nicole and Connor who are going through a challenging time due to the sudden closure of their chosen venue.
"The Grand Pier is here to support and assist them in creating a beautiful and memorable wedding experience despite the unexpected hurdles they've faced."
