A TAUNTON-based hair and beauty business has been shortlisted in the UK Hair and Beauty Awards (HBA).
Glass Skin, on East Street, is in the running to be crowned winner in the Rising Star and Best for Aesthetics categories. The company has also been nominated in the National Beauty Awards in the Best New Aesthetics and Best Business Branding categories.
The UK HBA aims to support businesses of all sizes. The awards' website reads: "The UK Hair and Beauty Awards are on a mission to unite businesses and individuals across the UK. Celebrating industry talent nationwide, no matter their financial or social status."
Joanne Cole, from Glass Skin, has described the news "as a dream."
Posting on Facebook about being a finalist in the Rising Star category, a spokesperson from the business said: "We cherish and value each and every one of you. We express our gratitude to all those who have supported us."
