FROME has once again been hit by flooding due to the recent bad weather.
Motorists are urged to plan their route carefully before driving.
Driving through flood water, even if it looks shallow, can cause damage to your car.
Police officers have said that it is not "big or clever to drive or attempt to drive" through floods. Motorists should use an alternative route where possible.
A spokesperson from the Mendip Neighbourhood Policing team said: "Frome flooding happening again.
"Once again we were hit with flooding due to the bad weather.
"This is a reminder to all drivers, please drive safe and plan your route before leaving. it's not big or clever to drive and attempt to drive through the floods.
"You do not want to end up with a damaged vehicle and a big bill to pay if your car when it gets stuck."
