AN 18-year-old man has been arrested and released under investigation following a theft from a Taunton store.
Police were called after 2.30pm on Friday, February 16 after a report was made about an alleged theft at an independent boutique. A number of items were said to have been stolen.
Officers arrested the man later that afternoon on suspicion of theft. He has since been released under investigation.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of theft following a report that items had been stolen from a shop in High Street, Taunton.
"We were called shortly after 2.30pm on Friday, February 16 to a report of the incident.
"Later that day, officers arrested the 18-year-old man who has since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
