A BRIDGWATER-based business has been announced as a new official partner of Somerset County Cricket Club.

Mouldex, a nationwide specialist mould and condensation control company found on Chedzoy Lane, have increased their involvement with the club by becoming an official partner for 2024, after previously acting as as Vitality Blast match sponsors.

As part of the deal, the Mouldex branding will appear on the back of the club’s Vitality Blast shirt this season.

Somerset CCC Commercial Director, Caroline Herbert, said: “It’s great to see that Mouldex have seen a positive impact from working with us and taken the decision to increase their commitment,” she said.

“It was a pleasure to work alongside them last year, and we look forward to seeing how this mutually beneficial partnership progresses.

"Hopefully, we will see a repeat of last year’s Finals Day and be celebrating with them at Edgabaston this summer!”

Andrew Cowlin, Mouldex Managing Director added: “We are really pleased to increase our commitment to the Somerset team for the up-and-coming season and are very proud that the Mouldex logo will appear on the back of the T20 champions shirt.

"After a fantastic 2023, we hope to continue to be a lucky mascot throughout the 2024 campaign!”
