THREE roads are currently closed after being affected by the recent bad weather and heavy rain.
Travel Somerset shared an update this morning (Tuesday, February 20) listing the following road closures:
- Langport to Muchelney
- Cutts Road - West Lyng to North Curry
- New Road - East Lyng to Athelney
The A361 (Burrowbridge to East Lyng) is open.
Emergency closures were also in place yesterday (February 19) after the heavy rain that hit Somerset during the weekend.
Weather warning
More heavy rain is expected to hit Somerset tomorrow (Wednesday, February 21).
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain which will be in place from midnight until noon.

The latest forecast said: “Heavy rain will spread across Wales and the South West England from early on Wednesday morning.
“Rainfall amounts will widely reach 15-25 mm, with as much as 50-70 mm over higher ground.
“With saturated ground in places, this is likely to lead to some disruption. Rain will clear to the east by the afternoon.”
