POLICE are appealing for anyone who may recognise the person pictured, who is wanted for questioning in connection to a criminal damage incident.

The appeal follows an incident in Wells between 6-7pm on Monday, January 29 in the Harewell Walk, area, in which an unknown individual damaged some CCTV cameras.

Officers are keen to speak to the person pictured wearing all black clothing as they believe they can assist in their enquiries.

A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We appreciate the CCTV footage is not the best quality but we hope someone may recognise the distinct facial expression of the individual and be able to identify them.

"Officers are also keen to hear from anyone who may have CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage from that area around the same time.

"If you can help, or were in the area and remember seeing anything suspicious, please contact us."

If you can help, call 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5224025002, or complete the online appeals form.
