Some roads in Somerset were flooded this morning after Sunday's (February 25) heavy downpour.

This morning (Monday, February 26) Travel Somerset said Lipe Lane/Cheat Road in Ruishton was flooded and the B3188 was closed due to a fallen tree from Elworthy to Rooks Nest.

Yesterday, the Environment Agency said: “The situation is being continually monitored and staff are checking the condition of flood banks, spillways, and weed screens."
