THIS morning (Saturday, March 2), the Met Office forecast snow in parts of Somerset and the South West.
They issued a yellow weather warning for snow on Saturday morning and it came into effect at 6am and will last until 10am.
Some areas of Somerset were hit with snow, pictured below is the scene in Holcombe. The picture was taken earlier this morning.
Elsewhere, there was snow in Chilcompton and parts of North Somerset and the Mendip Hills.
In Chilcompton, the snow caused some chaos for drivers as one crashed into a home on Bakers Lane, by the monument.
However, the rest of the forecast for the day shows rain and slightly warmer weather meaning the snow would likely be washed away.
For the rest of the weekend, it is set to be dry with clearer spells, though some showers continuing across the west.
Temperatures are set to hit freezing once again tonight and into tomorrow morning (Sunday, March 3) so there could be some frost and ice when you wake up on Sunday.
