THE owner of a dog grooming business based in Taunton and her pooch Manny have taken home Best of Breed at Crufts.
Beccie Woods, who owns Boni and Guy dog groomers in Taunton, took her miniature schnauzer father and daughter duo Manny and Maggie to the famed dog competition last week.
Manny was awarded Best of Breed out of 132 miniature schnauzers, and daughter Maggie came runner up in the junior warrant category.
Speaking on her two dogs' success, Beccie said: "This year at Crufts we had a huge huge win.
"Manny our miniature schnauzer was awarded Best of Breed out of 132 miniature schnauzers and then went on be in the final eight out of 2500 utility breeds in the group.
"Maggie, his daughter, came runner up in the Junior Warrant final also held at Crufts, so she was second out of hundreds of dogs that have had to go through qualification process."
