A POPULAR pub rooted in Taunton's local history has reopened after being temporarily closed.

The Waggon, formerly the Waggon and Horses, on Dorchester Road, celebrated its grand-reopening ceremony on Friday, March 15 with a live performance from Taunton-based band, Hazy Dayz.

It will be open between 11am and 11pm from Monday to Saturday, and on Sunday from 11am until 10pm.

Speaking ahead of Friday's grand reopening, on Facebook, a spokesperson for The Waggon said: "Exciting News! The wait is finally over!
