A TAUNTON care home has successfully held its first open day of the year.
Frethey House Care Home invited the community to learn more about the person-centred care and support they provide for their residents.
They are part of the Aria Care group, whose homes provide compassionate and high-quality care to the elderly.
The open days involved an opportunity for anyone to visit, explore the facilities, meet the team and gain insights into resident's lives.
At the time it was Nutrition and Hydration Week, and so to keep with the theme the care home provided refreshments to signify the importance of a well-balanced diet and proper hydration for the elderly.
Home manager at Frethey House, Helen Oliver, said: “We were thrilled to welcome the community to our home. These events were not only an excellent opportunity for individuals to witness the exceptional care we provide but also to join us in celebrating Nutrition and Hydration Week.”
Guests were also able to enjoy a selection of food crafted by the home's chefs. For more information, please visit www.ariacare.co.uk/find-a-home/frethey-house-in-taunton.
