A Somerset Easter trail raised more than £150 for a residential home.

Nynehead Court's annual event, which concluded last Sunday, invited visitors to explore the home's grounds for an Easter egg hunt and take part in crafting activities in the Orangery. Despite the free attendance, generous donors contributed to the Residents’ Amenity Fund.

Home manager Joanne Fenn said: "Our Easter Egg Trail is a very well-attended tradition at Nynehead Court.

"We would like to thank everyone who attended to hunt for eggs, enjoy crafts, and meet the Easter Bunny and Cheeky Chick. With better weather coming, the generous donations will be put to good use taking our residents on days out."

Nynehead Court, set in 18 acres of parkland, offers retirement living for older people requiring residential care or close care housing and caters to 44 residents and 11 retirees or couples needing closer care. It provides amenities such as a crafting space and extensive grounds for outdoor activities, promising a safe environment with a high level of care, support, and security.

Notably, the funds raised by the Easter event will support residents in enjoying outdoor excursions as the weather improves.
