Police are trying to trace a man from Uffculme, Devon, who is wanted as part of an investigation into assault and making threats to kill.

Beaumont is white, 6ft 1in tall and of stocky build. He has dark hair, a distinctive neck tattoo and a scar on the left hand side of his face.

Anyone who sees Beaumont is asked not to approach him but to call police on 999, quoting reference 50240081651.

Jake Beaumont, 32, has links to Taunton as well as Uffculme.

A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Enquiries have been made by police to locate him and officers are now appealing to the public for information on his whereabouts.

"Information can also be passed anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555111, or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org."
