Clarks Village is welcoming five new brands to its shopping outlet this summer, with Global beauty brand Rituals opening today.

Rituals opened its Clarks Village store on Thursday, May 23. The brand offers sustainable and luxury beauty products that make great gifts — including fragrances, shower gels, skincare, and more. Rituals has over 1,000 stores worldwide.

The opening follows hot on the heels of Lindt’s new larger store which launched at Clarks Village last week. It is now located next to Haribo within the Pear Court mall.

The chocolatier has added an ice cream and hot chocolate bar serving the newly released Lindt Crema Gelta, a ribbon personalisation hub, and the popular Lindt pick ‘n’ mix selection.

Now for those of us who prefer dining out to shopping, the outlet is awaiting the hotly-anticipated arrival of Wagamama on July 22, and a new Slim Chickens restaurant on June 21.

Wagamama will open a brand-new iconic restaurant at Clarks Village on Monday, July 22.

Located in Apple Court, the pan-Asian restaurant will offer seating for 172, including an outdoor dining space and will open seven days a week until 10pm on weekdays and until 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

Serving up its classic guest favourites and its new summer menu, it will be Wagamama’s 167th restaurant in the UK and will create 60 new jobs

A second addition to the outlet’s food and drink offering will be authentic American-style restaurant Slim Chickens. Due to open on June 21, the Arkansas-born fried chicken chain specialises in cooked-to-order fresh, buttermilk tenders, Honey BBQ sandwiches and fresh Buffalo wings.

It stocks a range of 15 handmade dipping sauces and a variety of wraps, salads and sides, with vegetarian plant-based options and milkshakes.

Slim Chickens will be located in Clarks Village’s Restaurant Terrace in what was previously GBK. Opening at 12pm, Slim Chickens will offer three free chicken tenders to the first 30 people in line with golden tickets given out in store for a chance to win free prizes.

Finally, luxury homeware brand Murmur has opened a new pop-up store in the Homeware Pavilion at Clarks Village. Offering homeware with natural tones, its range includes bedding, soft furnishings, gifting and home fragrance.

The new arrivals join a mix of 90 high street and designer brands at Clarks Village, with discounts of up to 60% off RRP.

Chris Davis, Centre Director of Clarks Village, commented: “After months of speculation, we can officially confirm Wagamama is coming to Clarks Village along with four other fantastic new openings.

"There’s already been a buzz of excitement from guests and we can’t wait to showcase these brands as they open their doors in the coming weeks alongside our established favourites.

“While the British weather may be interchangeable, with five new brands and more on the way, we’re in for a very hot summer at Clarks Village.”
