A CREATIVE café in Taunton is marking its official opening by announcing that there will be no fees to pay to use their studio for a whole week.

The Serendipity Creative Café opened its doors on Saturday, June 8 on South Street in the old Barry the Bakers building.

A message from the family-run café on Facebook read: “The renovation journey has been long, but we hope that when you see the transformation, you’ll agree that it has been worth the wait.

“To celebrate the opening, we will be opening every day for a whole week and there will be no studio fees to pay.

“Head to our website now to book in.”

Earlier this year, the team at the café said: “We are a family-run business that has had a pottery painting studio in Watchet since 2020 which we will be closing.

“We are on schedule to open at the beginning of May, and we are really excited to bring our little studio to Taunton.

“Our ethos is everybody can be creative. There are no barriers to using your imagination no matter what age you are.

“We provide the bisque, paints brushes, etc everything you need to get started.

“Hot drinks, cold drinks, and delicious homemade cakes.”

The team also added: “Whether you have years of artistic experience or come to us having never held a paintbrush before, you can be certain that we have something for you.

“There is always a wide selection of pottery for you to choose from, as well as hot and cold drinks to enjoy and our friendly team is on hand to offer ideas or suggestions.”
