FIRE crews attended reports of “smoke issuing from the roof of a garden shed” yesterday afternoon (Sunday, June 9).
It happened on Lambrook Road in Taunton where firefighters arrived within 20 minutes.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Fire control received a call to smoke issuing from the roof of a garden shed on Lambrook Road in Taunton. Control mobilised two fire engines from Taunton.
“Once in attendance, crews confirmed smoke was issuing from the roof of a garden shed and crews were extinguishing the fire using one hose reel jet.
“Within 20 minutes crews had the fire extinguished after using water backpacks and small tools.”
