Nine gardens in Kingston St Mary are being opened in aid of St Margaret's Hospice in Taunton.

The gardens will be open from 1pm to 5pm on July 13 and 14.

Admission, set at £7, grants access to all nine gardens located in or close to Church Lane.

Refreshments will be available at Boweys.

At Myrtle Cottage in Church Lane, visitors will find more than blooming flowers.

Gaye Fox will showcase her collection of  unique artworks to benefit St Margaret's Hospice.

A special event known as "Moth Morning" will be hosted in Boweys garden from 8.30am to 9.30am on both days.

Participants will have the opportunity to peek inside a moth-friendly trap and discover the wide variety of moths captured during the night.
