A MAN has been arrested in connection with an investigation into a serious assault in which a 27-year-old man suffered facial injuries.
A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent after an incident in Frome on June 14.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: “Officers have arrested a 20-year-old man in connection with an investigation into a serious assault in Frome.
“The man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, after a 27-year-old man suffered facial injuries after being attacked in Trinity Street on Friday 14 June.
“He’s been released on conditional bail for enquiries to continue.”
