FIREFIGHTERS have rescued a woman from a car after she was involved in a collision with a lorry on the A372 in Somerset.
The collision near Aller was reported at 2.14pm on Friday, August 2.
Fire crews from Bridgwater, Yeovil and Somerton were in attendance with officers from Avon and Somerset Police and paramedics.
They used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the car door and remove the woman from the vehicle. She was the only occupant in the car.

A Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Two fire engines and a heavy rescue vehicle were all sent to a report of a road traffic collision, involving a lorry and a car on the A372 near Aller.
“On arrival crews confirmed that one female was still in the car.
“Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the door and extricate the casualty. Ambulance and police were also in attendance.”
