A HIT and run car crash in Wellington resulted in four people being sent to hospital on Saturday, August 3.
Police were called to Longforth Road at around 8:20pm, where three vehicles collided.
Four people from one vehicle were taken to hospital, one of whom had suffered a broken ankle. A further three from another vehicle were given medical attention by paramedics.
The driver of one of the cars fled the scene on foot before police officers arrived.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We were called to the scene of a three-vehicle collision on Longforth Road, in Wellington, at around 8.20pm on Saturday 3 August.
"Four people from one of the vehicles were taken to hospital by ambulance, one of whom sustained a broken ankle.
"Three people from a second vehicle received medical attention at the scene.
"None of their injuries are thought be life-threatening.
"The driver of one of the cars has left the scene on foot before police arrived and enquiries are ongoing to locate him.
