CHEDDON Fitzpaine has hosted another successful flower show. The village's 78th annual event took place on Saturday, July 27.
Reverend Jim Cox opened the show at 2.30pm, with entertainment provided by Morris Men and Malcolm the Magician.
Activities included skittles, a coconut shy, plant and book stalls, as well as a bric-a-brac stand. Rows of produce, cakes, and jams were on offer.
Children from Cheddon Fitzpaine Church School also showcased their excellent artwork.
Nick Holley won Best in Show with his expertly made Bug Hotel.
A spokesperson for the show said visitors were treated to "flowers galore".
They added: "The weather behaved itself and tea and cakes were enjoyed by all. A perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon."
