A BAR in Taunton has announced that it has been awarded an "excellent" rating from the Food Standards Agency.
Mambos has been awarded a 5 out of possible 5 for their food hygiene rating.
A food hygiene rating of 5 means that a business's hygiene standards are very good and comply with the law.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) rates businesses on a scale of 5 to 0, with 5 being the highest and 0 being the lowest.
The rating is based on what is observed during an inspection, which can include: food handling, physical cleanliness and management.
The popular bar in town is open from 10am every day and serves customers looking for a night out in Taunton.
Listed as a restaurant on Google, the Taunton hotspot provides a variety of food options that cater to all dietary requirements.
Some of the 'Mambo Classics' include homemade beef lasagne, homemade chilli con carne, hunter's chicken and creamy chilli king prawn linguini.
There is also a Meaty Mambo food challenge where for £50, you have the chance to win 20% off food for a year and a customised Mambo hoodie.
To complete the challenge, you must finish a 24oz rump steak, 2x 8oz chicken breasts, 5 sausages, 3 fried eggs, 5 giant onion rings, 4 hash browns, 4 buffalo chicken wings and 2 portions of fries.
Eat all this within 30 minutes and you can win the available prizes.
In a social media post, the team at Mambo were very happy to receive the best possible food hygiene rating from the Food Standards Agency.
They said: "Wow what a weekend!
"Not only did we have Ortise Williams from JLS here at the weekend, we also achieved an Excellent 5 stars."
