Rainbow’s End Café is Glastonbury’s first and original vegetarian cafe.

Established for over 25 years, it is an award-winning and internationally recognized family business with a very good food hygiene rating, nestled away in the High Street, between Art of Africa and the Goddess and Green Man.

So far, the cafe has won the 2024 Britain in Bloom Silver Gilt Award in Business, Leisure and Tourism, The Restaurant Guru 2022 Best Cafe in Glastonbury, the Good Food Award 2023/24 Gold Seal and now, the 2024/25 Good Food Award Gold Seal.

The café also has a secret garden that extends out to St. Johns Square car park.

Rainbow’s end café is renowned for its fantastic homemade foods, ranging from the salad bar, main meals and scrumptious cakes.

The aim of the café has always been to make food for everyone of the highest taste and quality that just happens to be vegetarian and vegan. However, the café also is purely vegetarian to lower consumption of the Earth’s resources and to lessen their impact on the environment.

A spokesperson said: “We pride ourselves on supplying the highest quality whole food at an excellent price. The menu has influences from all over the world and always includes yummy vegan and wheat free meals and cakes.”

The team are thrilled to have received this prestigious award and look forward to seeing the café grow.
