A MOTORIST from Taunton has admitted speeding.
Daniel Paul Adams, of Arnold Close, Taunton, had originally been charged with failing to reveal the identity of the driver.
That count was withdrawn when he pleaded guilty to speeding at North Somerset Magistrates Court.
The court heard that Adams was caught doing 53mph in a 40mph limit on the A38 at Toneway on October 9 last year.
Magistrates handed him three points on his license and fined him £173, along with a £69 victim surcharge and an order to pay £90 costs.
