A seven-year-old Somerset girl has raised more than £500 for charity.
Burnham-on-Sea's Mabel Mackay ran a mile every day in March to raise funds for Children's Hospice South West (CHSW).
After taking part in a six-mile Santa Run in the Mendips in December, Mabel was inspired to support her local children’s hospice, Charlton Farm in Wraxall.
Mabel ran in the spring sunshine every day, joining local park runs at weekends to vary her route.
Even when she caught a bug, her determination saw her complete her daily mile.
Her efforts have sparked conversations about the care CHSW provides.
Her father, Innes Mackay, said: "We are really proud of Mabel.
"Her focus and determination are really what make her so special.
"She’s extremely passionate about running and helping others, so this has been a great opportunity for her to combine them."
Lucie Perryman, area fundraiser for CHSW, said: "Mabel is a true superstar.
"Her incredible determination throughout March has been inspiring.
"The funds she has raised will make a meaningful difference in supporting local babies, children, and young people with life-limiting illnesses.
"She is truly an inspiration to everyone."

CHSW has provided care for children and young people with life-threatening conditions for more than 30 years.
The charity offers support to families in the South West who have children with life-limiting conditions.
This includes specialist palliative and hospice care for the whole family, a sibling support service, emergency support, end-of-life care, and a bereavement service.
