How to do the ChatGPT action figure trend - make your AI doll

You may have noticed many people you follow on social media posting pictures of themselves in the form of a boxed action figure, along with their favourite personal accessories such as books or a cup of coffee, and even their pets.

Want to have a go and join to see what you could look like as your very own Barbie or Ken doll?

We’ve found out how you can become an AI action figure, with the help of ChatGPT (and it’s free).

1. Upload 4-5 of your photos to ChatGP T-40 — include a mix of selfies and full-body shots. If you'd like, you can also upload images of items you want to include in your "box."

How to do the ChatGPT action figure trend

If you want to create your own mini doll, just follow the steps below:

Sign in or create your ChatGPT account

Don’t have an account? Not to worry, it’s easy to create one – head to chatgpt.com and sign up using your email account and your phone number, or by adding your email address and creating a password.

Upload your photo

Next, you need to upload a picture of yourself – it can either be a headshot or a full body image.

However, if you choose a headshot, you might want to provide extra details so that ChatGPT can complete your action figure look, as it will take inspiration from the image and it won’t have much to go off.

Create instructions for your AI doll

Finally, it’s time to ask the AI tool to create your action figure doll.

As explained by Cosmopolitan, input the following text: “Draw an action figure toy of the person in this photo.

“The figure should be a full figure and displayed in its original blister pack. She always has [insert objects of your choice here]."

To make it personal, you can add any of your favourite personal items, such as a book, you're reading, a choice of drink, the list is endless.

Cosmopolitan adds: “For a more personalised doll, you can tweak the messaging above and specify if you'd like to have your doll's name on the front of the box or a different coloured box.”
