SOMERSET Armed Forces Day will return to Taunton’s Vivary Park for 2025 to celebrate and honour our military and its history.
The event returns this year on Saturday, July 5 and will begin at 10am and will last until 6pm.
Entry to the event is free to attend and this year up to 36,000 people are expected to visit Vivary Park.
The event is your opportunity to show your support for, and celebrate, the men and women who make up the Armed Forces and Emergency Services communities: from those still serving, their families, veterans and cadets.
Like previous years, this year’s event will feature displays and live stalls, live entertainment and military vehicles.
Weather permitting, this year will also see the Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight take to the the skies above the park, offering a view at some historic wartime aircraft.
Over the past few years, the event has proved to be a popular day out for all the family, with arena events, fly pasts, displays of military and emergency service vehicles as well as a variety of engaging stalls with information on British military history.
