Renault Clio and Nissan Juke damaged after crash in Taunton

TWO vehicles have been left damaged after a car crash in Taunton today (Saturday, June 21).

Believed to have happened between 5:30pm-6:10pm, the A3259 road, right by Maidenbrook Country Park, is currently partially blocked off at the time of this report.

Police are on the scene, with at least 3 officers in attendance.

The two cars involved are a blue Nissan Juke and a red Renault Clio, with the Juke damaged to its front bumper and the Clio seen damaged to its rear, with its number plate hanging off.

Traffic is coping whilst police are waving vehicles on towards Yallands Hill following the incident. Traffic is affected both ways.

The Somerset County Gazette has approached Avon and Somerset Police for comment.
