Sounds of the 70s – The Zoots
A Wiltshire band will bring a 1970s tribute show to Taunton this week.
The Zoots will perform at the Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre on Friday, June 27, at 7.30pm.
The band will cover hits by artists including Abba, T.Rex, Queen, and David Bowie.
Tickets are £25, with an additional £2.95 online booking fee, and can be booked at tacchi-morris.com/sounds-of-the-70s-the-zoots.
The show runs for two hours and 20 minutes, including an interval.
The Zoots, who formed in 2009, have performed over 1,000 concerts in more than 30 countries.

Brewhaha Comedy Night
A comedy night is set to bring some of the UK's top talent to Taunton Brewhouse.
Brewhaha Comedy Night will take place on Friday, June 27, offering three different sets.
The show starts at 7.30pm and lasts two hours.
Performers will be a mix of established and up-and-coming comedians.
Previous acts have included Laura Lexx, Matt Richardson, and Abi Clarke.
Tickets are priced at £16.50, and attendees can also book a pre-show curry for £12.50.
Choices include chicken or paneer and vegetable curry with various sides.

Somerset vs Nottinghamshire – Rothesay County Championship
Somerset will face Nottinghamshire in the Rothesay County Championship this week.
The Division One clash will take place at the Cooper Associates County Ground from Sunday, June 29, to Wednesday, July 2.
Somerset, celebrating their 150th anniversary, are currently mid-table, with Nottinghamshire aiming to stop Surrey from winning their fourth consecutive championship.
Play starts at 11am each day.
Tickets start at £19 per day for adults and £24 for a 'member for the day' ticket.
These are advance ticket prices, which can be purchased online at somersetcountycc.co.uk/fixtures-results until the gates open.
Tickets bought on the day will be subject to higher prices.
Movie Monday: The Ballard of Wallis Island
A comedy featuring Tim Key, Tom Basden, and Carey Mulligan will be screened at Taunton Brewhouse on June 30.
The Ballad of Wallis Island tells the story of Charles, an eccentric lottery winner who invites his favourite band to perform on his remote island.
The film, which runs for 100 minutes and is rated 12A, explores the dynamics between the bandmates and their former relationships.
Tickets are priced at £5 and can be purchased at tauntonbrewhouse.co.uk/events/the-ballad-of-wallis-island.
Following the screening, the Movie Monday Lunch Club will offer a light lunch for £9.
Options include a jacket potato, soup or sandwich, crisps, cake, and a choice of tea, coffee, or juice.
