A SOMERSET pub landlord died this month after being in charge for nearly 10 years.
Dean Clarke, who ran the Bell Inn, Evercreech, died after a battle with cancer in July, his family has confirmed.
In a statement posted on social media, the pub has paid tribute to Dean, announcing that the pub will remain open as it's 'what he would have wanted'.

Dean's wife, Anna, spoke to the Somerset County Gazette in tribute to her late husband.
Speaking with emotion, she said, "It is very sad that he (Dean) passed this month. He was the landlord for 8-9 years here. He will be very missed."
The pub also released a statement via social media to confirm that the Bell Inn will remain open despite Dean's death.
A spokesperson from the Bell Inn said: "It is with deepest regret that we announce the sad passing of the Landlord of The Bell Inn, Dean Clarke.
"We are open as normal, as he would want. Please sympathise and give time to the amazing team serving you at this very difficult time.
"The family & team would like to thank everyone for their amazing kindness and support, please raise a glass for Dean."
