FINAL preparations for Taunton Flower Show are underway before the gates officially open on Friday, 1 August 2025.
2025 will be the 194th year of Taunton Flower Show - dubbed "The Chelsea of the West" - and is held in Vivary Park.

What's on at the Taunton Flower Show 2025?
Show Manager, Beccy Fox, has been busy overseeing the operations since the initial setup began on Wednesday, July 23. This year features up to 220 traders.
"We are expecting around 13,000 visitors for Taunton Flower Show this year, and the entries to our competitions this year are the best we've had since 2019", Beccy said.
"Judging starts at 7.30 tomorrow morning and many people are making the finishing touches to their displays."
"What I love about Taunton Flower Show is that everyone can get involved. People can get involved with the show competitions and it's a community event all run by volunteers", Beccy added.
There are three impressive designer gardens, which will also be judged on Friday morning.
Around 300 to 400 dedicated volunteers assist with the event, which takes place over Friday and Saturday, 2 August.
In the floral marquee, there will be an opportunity for people to bring their own soil from home to test its characteristics.
Tickets can be purchased from the gate and children enter for free.
