A PERSON has been hospitalised after being involved in a crash near Asda in Taunton.
Emergency services were called at around 9.20pm on Friday (August 15) following a collision in Creechbarrow Road, near the Asda car park turning.
Two ambulances were sent to the scene where the paramedics ended up rushing one casualty to Musgrove Park Hospital.
Avon and Somerset Police closed the road to allow for the damaged vehicles to be moved and for the paramedics to access the drivers.

A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 19:21hrs on Friday 15 August to a road traffic collision in Taunton.
“We sent two double-crewed land ambulances to the scene and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Musgrove Park Hospital.”
The Avon and Somerset Police said: “We were called at around 7.20pm on Friday 15 August to Creechbarrow Road, in Taunton, reporting a two-vehicle collision.
“Thankfully, no one sustained any serious injuries and the vehicles were recovered.”
