TWO people have been hospitalised in Taunton Musgrove Park Hospital after a crash on the A303.
At around 6pm on Monday, August 25 there was a “huge accident” on the Ilminster Bypass heading towards South Petherton, between Ilminster and Yeovil.
Emergency services were called immediately and two double-crewed ambulances, two operations officers, and a rapid response vehicle rushed to the scene.
South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust confirmed that two people were hospitalised in Taunton Musgrove Park Hospital following the incident.

A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 18:03hrs on Monday 25 August to a road traffic collision near South Petherton.
“We sent two double-crewed land ambulances, two operations officers, and a rapid response vehicle to the scene.
“We conveyed two patients by land ambulances to Musgrove Park Hospital.”
