Taunton School has been recognised for its commitment to inclusivity in sport.
The school received the Inspiring Sporting Activities award at the 2025 Talk Education Awards for Innovation in Education.
The school was recognised for its inclusive approach to sport and its dedication to supporting students of all abilities.

Winners of the Talk Education Awards for Innovation in Education are selected by an expert panel of judges with over 400 years of combined experience in education.
The judges share an understanding of how an inclusive sports programme improves student welfare and wellbeing whilst developing skills, competencies, and attitudes that facilitate student success in life at school and beyond.
The school’s senior programme offers three pathways – core development, potential high performance, and high performance – to support students from Year Nine to Year 13, regardless of age, experience, or ability.
This model aims to maximise progression and personal development for every student.
Taunton School offers more than 1,000 fixtures each year across 30 sports, with 130 representative teams in its senior school.
Earlier in the year, Taunton School was named as one of the best schools in the UK for sport, ranking 14th in School Sport magazine’s Top 200 Sporting Schools.
