ANOTHER year of carnival season has come to an end in Taunton - here is a list of all the procession winners confirmed.
Taunton Carnival 2025 saw thousands of people line the streets for a procession of 68 entries, which included majorettes, individual performances, and major illuminated carts which cost thousands of pounds.
The Somerset carnival circuit is well underway, with processions finished in Ilminster, Chard, Wellington, and Taunton now. The next procession is the big one, with Bridgwater Carnival set to take place on November 1.

What everyone really wants to know is who took home the trophies across all the different classes.
With a total of 12 classes at Taunton Carnival 2025, here is a list of the confirmed winners in each respective class.
Taunton Carnival 2025 results revealed – see who won:
Class 1 Feature: 1st – Harlequinn CC, Ice Harvest, The Taunton Hospital Cup; 2nd – Sid Vale CC, Havana Nights; 3rd – Gemini CC, Time for Tea.
Last year's overall Taunton Carnival winner, Harlequinn CC, has taken home the overall winner award once again with 'Ice Harvest' - which was the final cart of the procession this year. Sid Vale CC has improved one place on last year's performance, going from second to third.
Class 3 Comic: 1st – 1 + 1 CC, Rumble in the Jungle, The Edwards Cup; 2nd – Nunsford Nutters, Don’t Fly with Us; 3rd – Honiton YFC, That’ll do Donkey.
Class 4 Youth: 1st – Next Generation CC, Intergalactic Circus, The Taunton Cider Cup; 2nd – Rubaloo JCC, The Spirit of Christmas.
Class 5 Open: 1st – Zem CC, Country Gals, The Vic Ellis Cup; 2nd – Misfits CC, The Pink Pony Club; 3rd - Unicorn CC, The Race.
Class 6 Single Walking (Adult): 1st – Tizzys CC, Elmentasia, The Silver Street Motors Company; 2nd - Jacks’s CC, Ragtime; 3rd – Ruth Welsh, Masquerade.
Class 7 Single Walking (Juvenile): 1st – Fin CC, Space Invader The Broom Centre Cup; 2nd - Flynn Newbery, Way of the Dragon.
Class 8 Pair Walking: 1st – A & A CC, Diego & his Bucking Bronco, The Carr & Quick Cup; 2nd - The Plate of Hope, Pirates of the South.
Class 9 Group Walking: 1st – Fortitude Performance Team, Colour of my Dreams, The Tesco Cup; 2nd – Taunton Beats; 3rd – Nigerians in Somerset, Cultural performance.
Class 10 Walking/non-motorised: 1st - Bubbles CC, Game On, The Mary Wyatt Cup; 2nd – Florence Knight, Candy Kid; 3rd – Xtreme CC, Tractor Mayhem.
Class 11 Traders: 1st – Mates with Mater, The Van Heusen Cup, Howdens; 2nd – Somerset Ghost Hunters; 3rd - Tacchi Morris Arts Centre.
Class 12 Majorettes: 1st – Merriott Majorettes, Taunton Carnival Cup; 2nd – Silverstar Elite Majorettes; 3rd – 3rd Chard Evolution Majorettes.
