TWO people have been hospitalised with injuries, following a bus crash that occurred in Taunton early this morning (October 30).
After 4am on the morning of Thursday, October 30, emergency services were called to respond to reports of a bus colliding with a tree in Monkton Heathfield Road, near Taunton.
Once at the scene fire crews worked with South Western Ambulance Service paramedics to help release three people from the bus.

When approached for comment, South Western Ambulance Service have confirmed that two of the three casualties who were rescued from the bus by Taunton fire crews have been taken to Musgrove Park Hospital.
Avon and Somerset Police have clarified that the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 04:06hrs on Thursday, October 30 to a road traffic collision in Taunton.
“We sent two double-crewed land ambulances, and an operations officer to the scene. We conveyed two patients by land ambulances to Musgrove Park Hospital.”
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We received a call just after 4am this morning (Thursday 30 October) reporting a collision in which a bus has collided with a tree in Monkton Heathfield Road, in Monkton Heathfield near Taunton.
"Two people were taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening or life changing."
