TAUNTON School has been ranked in the top five per cent of UK schools for value added to GCSE results and in the top 10 per cent of UK schools for value added to A-Level results.
According to a Taunton School spokesperson, this means students achieved "better results at Taunton School than they would have in 95 per cent and 90 per cent of other schools across the UK”, and that “on average they achieved a whole grade higher than their baseline grade”.
These achievements follow Taunton School’s highest GCSE and A-Level results in recent years, with 53 per cent of GCSEs graded 9-7 and 69 per cent of A-Levels graded A*-B.
